Slipping Into The Water
Reading Time: < 1 minute
He fears she is slipping away, slipping away into the water. He takes his stand on dry land, but he cannot hold her there, for she’s slipping into the water. He tries now to hold her there, away above the water, but try as he might he cannot hold her, she’s slip, slipping away; until one day she will finally merge, becoming one with the water. © D G Moody 2023
